With the XXI century, a wind of change has been blowing over the wine estat Muller-Koeberlé. 

  • A dynamic team is giving its best to offer wines of quality.
  • David Koeberle takes care of the vinification, combining a familial know how and actual techniques.
  • The original soils of each terroir express itself throw the wines of the estate and their tastes, each one different from the other, will delight your palate.
  • This search of aroma concentration is really intense in the range Clos des Aubépines. Which one is a parcel of 10ha, property of the family since 1961. With the four grape varieties of the parcel, we vinified five wines and one blending: the Langenberg - Clos des Aubépines. 

The ranges of the estate: Clos des Aubépines, Terroir and creation, tradition, Late Harvest and Noble Berries and Cremant will lead you throw tradition and modernity, lightness and concentration. The Rouge de Saint-Hippolyte, communal appellation for red wines, will surprise you by is unique character.

The «Clos des Aubépines» was created in 1961 and has a very particular soil which is brown with a granitic substrate (granitic composition - mica, quartz and feldspaths).

It is a composition of eruptive rocks that crack and crumble to shape rough sand (called granitic arena) with light water retention. The granite degradation level is quite advanced, which allows the release of mineral elements.

This terroir offers lively, expressive and acidulous' wines. They are very delicate and often go along with a sensation of salinity on finish.

The place called "Schlossreben" has old vines of more than 40 years old. Silicious soil, clay marney underground, that gives to the wines power and nobility.

The place called "Burgreben" is situated on the hills of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. The soil of this clay marney terroir brings to the wines, a very appreciated mineral hint.

The wine cellar is composed of oak barrels and steel tanks, in which one the best Grands Crus of our vineyard age with harmony. 


Our wines are stocked away from the light and any excessive change of temperature. This period depends on the kind of character expected, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years for the ageing wines. 


Every year we determine if the D Day has arrived, thanks to a tasting to judge the evolution of the wine. After being selected the bottles are labeled and prepared to be ready for sale.

Technically our responsibility stops at the bottling but our moral commitment ends when it has been drunk.

Come and discover our cellar during a tasting. We welcome you with great pleasure from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 11:45 am and from 2:00 pm to 5:45 pm and the Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:45 pm.
